SB2C "Helldiver"
SB2C-4
AEC:
What can really be expected of an aircraft as chunky and slow as this. The SB2C simply does not have the acceleration or energy retention to be viable. Luckily I'm able to fly with no payload on the aircraft but that alone is not enough to make up for its sluggish handling. "Every corner becomes a straight line if you are slow enough" rings quite true for this plane. The Helldiver has the worst AEC algorithm possible; closing the cowl flaps on wep and opening them off of wep. This means that the engine heats up extremely quickly, then when it finally overheats it gets a massive drag penalty.
MEC:
90% - 30/50 % rads. I used 30% cowling flaps until the first overheat then switched to 50% later, fixed all the cooling problems while not being as problematic. Regardless of the improvements with drag nothing will be able to save the Helldivers chunkiness. Also this aircraft doesn't like minor course corrections and will bleed speed every opportunity it gets.
SB2C-5
AEC:
I'm not sure why I wanted to test this aircraft, it flies the exact same as the SB2C-4 and overheats in all the same places.

Aircraft Not Tested:
If enough people drum up enough fuss about the SB2C-1 maybe ill consider testing it, but there are no marketable improvements about the aircraft. Secondly unless denoted otherwise all other SB2C-4's and -5's Found in other parts of the game are the same as the two tested here. So theres no point in suffering with them any further.
