BTD

AEC:

The heavy weight and brick shape does nothing for the powerful Duplex Cyclone on the BTD. It can start the race at 320 mph but you'll never see that speed again; by the first hairpin its dropped to 280 mph and by the next one its stuck in the 250-270 mph area for the duration of the race. Which would make the BTD about as fast as a Boston. If the horrific energy retention wasn't enough to make the pilot hurl the engine cooling system is also atrocious. The engine overheats at H4 but to cool the engine the pilot needs to reduce power to 100% and only then will the cowl flaps open, ensuring that the plane not only has less horse power, at a time when it needs it most, but also incurs the strongest drag penalty in the same moment. The only positive the BTD has is its strong turning performance, allowing the BTD to take the tightest possible corners every time.

MEC:

While MEC helps its not going to turn this brick into a top contender. 90%-15% Solves all of the pilots problems with the engine and the lower rads% throughout the race helps to reduce the drag penalty from the AEC runs.
